Sky has been the friend of humankind since antiquity. The Night sky and its phenomenon in particular have been the focal attraction point for human race since pre-historic times. Life on other planets has also had a charm in the human fantasies and science enthusiasts as well.Adding to it, meteors, sometimes called shooting stars often presenta special view in night skies though a events of meteor showers, in which a number of meteors are observed to radiate, or originate, from one point in the night sky. The month of April is also a spectator to such a spectacle in the form of “Lyrid Meteor Showers”.
Scientific Knowledge for Youth (S.K.Y.) Foundation and Ignited Minds VIPNET Club(VP-UP-0103) in collaboration with EduSTEM Initiative, SKY Amateur Astronomers VIPNET Club (VP-UP-0149) and Women Led Science VIPNET Club (VP-UP-0165) now welcomes participants across the globe join this event, a shared digital resource initiative to stir the minds of the people across the globe through a Google Hangouts Meet.
